ashley-1aEvery day there are things that keep me inspired, I think it’s important to be mindful and take note of these things and truly enjoy each moment. From the golden light in the evening to the satisfaction of icing a cake or the smell of flowers in the garden, small things like these allow me to look for and capture the effortless beauty that is everywhere.

In my teens I started taking photographs inspired by fashion and editorial images, I was drawn to glamorous magazines and perfume campaign models. I soon realised that I most loved imagery which was natural and luminous, artful and editorial. I then became completely obsessed and inspired by weddings from the beautiful details to the overwhelming emotions of the day. I began wanting to take pictures of people who were in love. With that in mind, I decided to do the unthinkable and take a chance and pursuit my dream. Creating beautiful imagery is in my nature, it’s who I am and now it’s what I do.

When I’m not shooting I’m typically spending my time dreaming up big ideas, adventures and plans. And simpler things too like… Looking at delicious recipes and asking my partner Tom (who is also my second shooter…and head chef at home!) to cook them, reading, buying new stationary, watching Audrey Hepburn movies, debating whether I really NEED another pair of bedsocks, taking long train journeys,  listening to 1950’s French music, trying to bake (and often failing) and of course surrounding myself with people I love.

In my young and fleeting career, I have been privileged enough to be featured in national print such as You and Your Wedding Magazine, on amazing wedding blogs such as Love My Dress, Boho Weddings, and the English Wedding Blog.

I’m Ashley, if you think I am the right person to be involved in your most precious moments then it would be my delight and honour to work with you.

I can’t wait to hear from you.
